MCT (medium chain triglycerides) have antibacterial and antiviral properties. MCT oil comes from palm and coconut oil and is translucent, tasteless and easily digestible. MCT is used as a carrier oil and helps the efficacy of the CBD.

CBD tinctures are generally taken orally and held under the tongue for 30 seconds in order to be absorbed into the body efficiently.  Topicals (creams and salves) can be applied to the skin as needed.
